MASTER COURSE IN LIEPAJA - LATVIA

with Maestro Colin Metters
and the Liepaja Symphony Orchestra

 

This course provides professional training at the highest level to emerging conductors
from all over the world. The event will take place in the rehearsal and performance hall
of Liepaja Symphony Orchestra.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Each participant will have a daily podium time for a total of 180 minutes based on 7 working sessions with the orchestra plus 1 final concert in which all the participants will conduct.

 

There will be  5 courses with two pianos before starting the rehearsals with the orchestra. These 2 pianos sessions are based on 2 hours of work on the repertoire of the course.

4 Seminars with the Maestro will also be part of the course.

 

The course is open to active participants and auditors, no age limit, language is English.

 

A maximum of 8 applicants are selected by the Maestro to be active participants to the course.

All the rehearsals and concert will be video and audio recorded. This video material will be available for consultation during the course and it will be delivered to the participants at the end of the course.

 

With successful completion of the master class, each participant, whether active or auditors will receive a certificate signed by the teacher.
